The Importance and Best Practices of Technical Communication

  • Foursquare 568 Broadway, Floor 10 New York, NY, 10012 United States (map)

In school, most projects are completed individually or in small groups. Your work is graded and requires no further explanation. As you move on to industry, you will be working with many people on far more complex projects. No matter what role you take at a tech company, you’ll need to continually communicate your ideas and contributions. In this course, you’ll learn about:

  • Getting people excited about your ideas.
  • Speaking to audiences in various roles, both technical and non-technical.
  • Anticipating objections and listening to feedback.
  • Advancing your project by conveying progress and roadblocks to your team.
